Metamorphosis is a play with the merging of art and science – partly, it constitutes of a biological collection of scientific specimens, while at the same time it’s a two dimensional depiction merging into a three dimensional reality. The two sides work against each other through either fact or fiction, and they create an ambiguity of which side is the better in portraying truth and reality.
